35 representatives of the Alliance For Insurance Reform in a review and update meeting with our Campaign Co ordinator Peter Boland who took us through a very detailed presentation on a) What the Insurance Industry has done to policy holders since COVID, b) What our reform agenda had achieved at the fall of the Dail and c) What the Alliance has managed to secure in the draft Programme for Government . There was also some insightful discussion from members on the need to be vigilant with the new Government , with the new Judicial Council and of course of the PIAB as well as of course the Central Bank and Dept of Finance. We will still be dealing on insurance issues for some time to come , long after any vote for a new Taoiseach this Saturday.
