The Epic Awards are for creative projects that involve citizens, artists and creative people who participate for the love of it and on an amateur basis.

Organisers can be a voluntary group, a professional organisation or an individual creative citizen as long as the voluntary artists involved are also involved in the decision making and running of the project.

To be eligible to apply for an Epic Award you have to be able to answer yes to the following questions:
1 Our project involves citizens, artists and creative people who participate for the love of it and on an amateur basis.
2 Any paid staff we involve in delivery of project activities are are neither the main nor the sole decision makers, either creatively or organisationally.
3 Some or all of our project activity took place during the year ending 31 December 2019 (or is ongoing) and was based in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

If you would like to nominate a group, email robin@voluntaryarts.org. With their contact details and a brief summary of why you think they are worth considering – just a sentence or two would. They will then follow up directly with the group.
